The Administration & Finance Division serves as the backbone of institutional operations and ensures seamless administrative and financial governance. Its major responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the custodian of all records, the common seal, institute funds, and all associated properties of the Institute.
  • The Division Head functions as the Head of Office, Secretary to the Board of Governors, and Secretary to various other committees.
  • Provides comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and the Board of Governors.
  • Organizes meetings of the Board of Governors and ensures compliance and implementation of all Board decisions.
  • Handles the affiliation process of IHMs, including inspections and coordination of Affiliation Committee meetings.
  • Organizes the Principal’s Meet and regulates the functioning of IHMs across the country.
  • Processes student scholarships, and coordinates with AISHE and other concerned agencies.
  • Evaluates the Annual Returns of Affiliated Institutes and certifies their performance assessments.
  • Conducts the All India JEE for admission into B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs.
  • Conducts the National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET) at the level of NET (National Eligibility Test) in Hospitality.
  • Manages General Administration, including accounts, audits, and preparation of the annual report.
  • Oversees General Establishment functions such as recruitment, promotions, and maintenance of the reservation roster.
  • Manages outsourcing agencies, engagement processes, and contractual services.
  • Handles procurement, inventory, and store management.
  • Ensures the implementation of Rajbhasha policies and manages Parliamentary committee matters.
  • Handles Parliament Questions, vigilance cases, RTI matters, and related compliance.
  • Manages the Guest House, Hostels, and Staff Quarters.
  • Coordinates with the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) and other Government departments.
  • Assists the Government of India in the appointment of Principals.
  • Promotes administrative reforms through training and capacity-building programs.
  • Ensures the maintenance of the campus, infrastructure, and all institutional assets.
  • Facilitates and oversees consultancy activities of the Institute.
