Board of Governors

The Board of Governors, as constituted by Government of India, conducts business of the National Council under the Chairmanship of Secretary (Tourism), Government of India. Chief Executive Officer, who is also a Member of the Board of Governors, overseas day to day affairs of the Council. Composition of the Board of Governors as defined in Rule 28 of Memorandum of Association of NCHMCT (Society) is as under:

03	Member Finance/Financial Advisor in the Administrative Department concerned	Financial Advisor, MOT	Member
04	Two of the nominees of the Government of States in which the affiliated institutions are located, to be specified by Govt. of India	Two Principal Secretary (Tourism) by rotation, Presently – Principal Secretary (Tourism), Govt. of Bihar and Govt. of Kerala	2 Members
05	Principals of 4 of affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management	Four Principals. Presently Principal, IHM, Goa Principal, IHM, Kolkata Principal, Ambedkar IHM, Bengaluru Principal, IHM, Chandigarh	4 Members
06	One of the experts in Hotel and Food Management, Catering and Nutrition, to be specified by the Government	Presently Vacant	Member
07	Two of the persons from the hotel and catering industry to be nominated by the Govt.	Secretary General, FHRAI Dr. Jyostna Suri, CMD, The Lalit, N Delhi.	2 Members
08	Chief Executive Officer	Charge with Economic Advisor (Tourism)	Member
