Public Holidays and Leave
1.Public Holidays
1.1 The Council shall observe all public holidays as declared by the Secretariat of the Central Government in Delhi.
1.2 Employees of the Council who are posted at locations outside Delhi, if any, shall observe the public holidays enjoyed by the Central Government employees posted at those locations.
1.3 In addition to the official public holidays, the Council may, at its discretion, declare additional holidays for its employees, subject to operational requirements and prior approval of the Competent Authority.
2.Leave Entitlement
2.1 Employees of the Council shall be entitled to leave in accordance with the provisions of the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972, as amended from time to time by the Central Government.
2.2 The types of leave include, but are not limited to:
- Earned Leave / Privilege Leave
- Casual Leave
- Medical Leave / Sick Leave
- Maternity / Paternity Leave
- Special Leave as applicable under Central Civil Service rules
2.3 The grant, sanction, and encashment of leave shall be administered by the Head of Office or any officer authorized by the Competent Authority, in accordance with the rules.
2.4 Employees are expected to plan leave in such a manner that it does not adversely affect the functioning of the Council.
